Welcome to the Home of the Tulsa Marine Corps League, Albert E. Schwab, Detachment 857.

The Albert E. Schwab Detachment of the Marine Corps League was chartered on July 27, 1993.  The Detachment is named in honor of PFC Albert E. Schwab, USMCR, who was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor for action on Okinawa in 1945.  PFC Schwab is the only Tulsan to receive the Medal of Honor.  He is buried at Memorial Park Cemetary in Tulsa, OK.

Detachment meets for breakfast at 8:00 a.m. and membership meeting begins at 9:00 a.m. on the
4th Saturday of each month at
VFW Post 577, 1109 East 6th Street, Tulsa, OK.
